The Village Green is a great place to get drop your pin:

The Island Explorer, a free bus service, has a stop just north of the village green. Head north once you get dropped off to make your way down to the water to see some real Maine lobster boats in the harbor. 

East of Eden Street, North of Mount Desert Street and keep going until you hit the water. 

Cottage Street and Main Street are the two populated streets in downtown Bar Harbor. Shops and restaurants line the streets.
